These Terms and Conditions (“Agreement”) apply to all bookings made through Taratibu Adventure Africa. By making a booking, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms:
1. Booking and Payment
  • Booking Confirmation: To confirm a booking, a deposit of 30-50% of the total tour price is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at least 30 days before the tour starts.
  • Payment Methods: Payments can be made by bank transfer, credit card, or other payment options provided by Taratibu Adventure Africa.
  • Currency: All payments must be made in the currency specified at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Non-Refundable Deposit: In the event of a cancellation, the deposit is non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
2. Cancellations and Refunds
  • Cancellation by the Client:
    • More than 30 days before departure: A full refund of the deposit, minus any applicable transaction fees.
    • Less than 30 days before departure: No refund of the deposit. However, the remaining balance may be refunded at the discretion of the company depending on the circumstances.
    • No-show or late arrival: No refund will be given.
  • Cancellation by Taratibu Adventure Africa: In the unlikely event that the tour is canceled by Taratibu Adventure Africa, a full refund of all amounts paid will be made. We reserve the right to cancel the tour due to reasons beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, political instability, or any unforeseen circumstances).
3. Changes to the Itinerary
  • Itinerary Modifications: Taratibu Adventure Africa reserves the right to modify the itinerary, accommodation, or activities before or during the tour due to circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to inform you of any changes as soon as possible.
  • Alternative Arrangements: If a particular service is unavailable, we will offer suitable alternatives of similar quality, though this may not always be possible.
4. Responsibilities of the Client
  • Health and Fitness: Clients are responsible for ensuring that they are physically fit and healthy to undertake the chosen tours. Any medical conditions or special requirements should be disclosed at the time of booking.
  • Travel Insurance: It is highly recommended that clients purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover personal accidents, medical expenses, lost baggage, and cancellation fees. Taratibu Adventure Africa is not liable for any personal injuries or loss during the tour.
  • Luggage and Personal Belongings: Clients are responsible for their personal belongings. Taratibu Adventure Africa is not liable for any loss, damage, or theft of personal items.
5. Safety and Behavior
  • Compliance with Laws: Clients must adhere to the laws and regulations of Tanzania and other countries visited during the tour. Taratibu Adventure Africa reserves the right to remove any individual from the tour who engages in disruptive or illegal behavior.
  • Safety and Guidelines: Clients must follow the safety instructions given by tour guides and instructors at all times. Non-compliance with safety guidelines may result in removal from the tour with no refund.
6. Force Majeure
  • Events Beyond Our Control: Taratibu Adventure Africa is not responsible for any delay, cancellation, or changes to the tour caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, political unrest, acts of terrorism, or other unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will work with clients to make alternative arrangements where possible, but no refunds will be issued.
7. Liability
  • Limitation of Liability: Taratibu Adventure Africa is not responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to clients or their belongings during the tour. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the services rendered.
  • Third-Party Suppliers: Taratibu Adventure Africa works with third-party suppliers (e.g., hotels, transport companies) to provide services. We are not liable for any actions or omissions by these third parties, although we will make every effort to ensure their services meet the required standards.
8. Complaints
  • Disputes: If you experience any issues or dissatisfaction during the tour, please inform your guide or Taratibu Adventure Africa’s representative as soon as possible. We will do our best to resolve any issues promptly. Complaints made after the tour has ended will not be accepted unless there are exceptional circumstances.
9. Photos and Marketing
  • Use of Client Images: Taratibu Adventure Africa may take photographs and videos during the tour for marketing and promotional purposes. By booking with us, you consent to the use of these images in our marketing materials. If you do not wish for your image to be used, please notify us in writing at the time of booking.
10. Governing Law
  • Jurisdiction: This Agreement will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Tanzania. Any disputes arising from or related to this Agreement will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Tanzania.
